Registered Dietitian (Eating Disorders)

Part-time (10-20 hr/week)

Able to transition to full-time, if desired

Location: Main office (Evansville, Indiana)

Hybrid in person / virtual option

Requirements for this position include:

  • Active CDR registration (in good standing) as a Registered Dietitian

  • Minimum (1) year experience treating eating disorders and/or minimum (1) year experience providing 1-1 weight neutral medical nutrition therapy

  • Proximity or ability to commute to the main office in Evansville, IN

  • Exceptional communication and counseling skills

  • Ability to train in and effectively utilize an electronic health records system

 

Extra consideration given to:

  • Proficiency in a second language (written / oral / sign)

  • Skilled with social media and/or content creation

  • Advance practice experience (5+ years treating eating disorders

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Counseling clients through listening to their needs, applying motivational interviewing, developing and communicating realistic goals, establishing interventions, monitoring progress, and adjusting our perspective, as necessary.

  • Collaboration with healthcare providers including, but not limited to, therapists, primary care providers, and specialists

  • Maintaining appropriate and timely documentation of client services provided as well as communication records with other healthcare providers

  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines

  • Participation in (paid) individual and group mentoring for skills enhancement
